David G. Wheeler serves as Chief Financial Officer for MedImpact. David works in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer in developing MedImpact’s strategic global direction and business plan. His oversight and leadership in the MedImpact financial directives have been crucial to driving the growth of MedImpact to become the 5th largest pharmacy benefit management company in the nation. David provides senior level direction on financial decisions and organizational priorities in an effort to maximize and accelerate the continued financial success of MedImpact.

David provides 22 years of financial experience to MedImpact. He served as Chief Financial Officer for several emerging businesses poised on entering the national marketplace including Pharb Marketing Company, BaySTP.com, Inc., and VIVO Com, Inc. Additionally, David established and managed several accounting firms, and served as CEO and CFO for various restaurant chains including the national franchise Chuck E. Cheese.

David received his Bachelor of Science from California State University, Chico. He is a CPA and holds Enrolled to Practice Before IRS certification. He is active in his community, holding leadership positions with several non-profit organizations such as the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, Jaycees, Rotary, and is an Eagle Scout for Boy Scouts of America.
