WorldDoc, Inc. Hosts Automated Care Management Symposium
Las Vegas , NV -- March 7, 2007 - WorldDoc, Inc., provider of advanced and fully integrated Health Management Systems, hosted the first annual WorldDoc Automated Care Management Symposium on February 20th and 21st at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. WorldDoc clients, consisting of employer groups, health plans, third party administrators, and vendors from around the United States attended the event.
With the theme “Your Rx for Population Health,” symposium participants attended 9 sessions over the course of two days. Sessions varied in topics ranging from an overview of the state of health among the American population, using health data to support and evaluate health and disease management programs, marketing products and programs, and specific product education on the WorldDoc suite of tools.
Diane Soule of DStrategy kicked off the event with “Impacting Health Behaviors: A Prescription for Change.” Attendees learned about the impact the health of the nation has on employer costs and methods health plans, TPAs, and employers can utilize to target health behaviors to reduce costs.
Symposium attendees also heard from current WorldDoc clients about strategies and successes experienced by incorporating WorldDoc with marketing, health initiatives, and disease management. A showcase reception was hosted on the evening of February 20th, where WorldDoc clients performed product demonstrations and were able to interact with one another to share their WorldDoc experience.
Feedback from the Symposium attendees was extremely positive, and evaluations included such comments as “Learning about WorldDoc and how to market it was my goal -- I learned a lot about the program and have a much better understanding of WorldDoc” as well as “Awesome. Very helpful information shared by all.” Overall, attendees were very satisfied with the symposium and left the event feeling motivated and excited about working to incorporate WorldDoc to their current offerings.
